HPC for USyd researchers
Under the Sydney Research Cloud, researchers at The University of Sydney have in-kind access to both Tier-1 supercomputers in Australia: Pawsey’s Setonix and NCI’s Gadi.
For general information on accessing these services, visit National HPCs. For alternatives to HPC, please visit our Research Computing documentation.
This guide has been developed to support University of Sydney researchers in setting up their computational workflows on Pawsey’s Setonix HPC, with particular focus on key differences between Pawsey and other HPC facilities our researchers may be familiar with (for example, NCI Gadi HPC and the decommissioned Artemis HPC). Frequent links to relevant parts of the comprehensive documentation available from Pawsey are included for more detail.
A similar guide for onboarding NCI Gadi is also available.
