Human rights mentions by party and ministry

Two cross-tabulation tables showing the likelihood of 'human rights' mentions by party across each ministry. The Third Thatcher ministry is excluded as the dataset does not cover its full duration; tables begin from the First Major ministry.

Table 1 – proportion of each party's MPs who mentioned 'human rights' at least once in the ministry (unique human-rights speakers ÷ average party size in seats).

Table 2 – proportion of human-rights debates where each party's MP was the first to mention it (debates with party X as first-mention ÷ total debates containing a human-rights mention).
